Jim Neidhoefer

Jim is the Missions Project Manager for the MIT Quest for Intelligence.  He brings many years of experience in aerospace research and development primarily focused on the design, fabrication, and flight-testing of unmanned aircraft with AI-enabled autonomous capabilities.  He has been the principal investigator on over two dozen research contracts for NASA, the U.S. Army, Navy, and Air Force, and has authored or co-authored more than thirty published technical works.  He earned his B.S. and M.S. degrees in aerospace engineering and his Ph.D. in aerospace & electrical engineering with a focus on Intelligent Systems from The University of Alabama.
